Meet Our Team

RON CRAWFORD

  • Leadership is my passion. Innovation and Creation are my drivers. My mission is helping others maximize their potential, realizing that great teams are the foundation of success in anything that has meaning and impact. For 20 years I have been focusing my leadership energy towards a relatively small domain, I'm looking now to expand that impact on a larger scale, and with greater purpose. My message centers around empathy, inclusiveness, service, and leveraging the strengths of all teammates. Times of great challenge call for great leadership, let's make the world a better place!

What is your favorite quote or motto?

So many favorites, I can't pick just one. Here a few of the best:

    • "Leadership is neither a rank or a title, Leadership is a Choice" -Simon Sinek.

    • " Difficulties are just things to overcome, after all." -Ernest Shackleton

    •  "Leaders don't create followers, they create more leaders." -Tom Peters

    • "Leadership is a Process": Ron Crawford

What is one unique skill you bring to the team?

My personality type is probably the main thing. As a Myers-Briggs ENFP in a group of STJs, I bring innovative and creative ideas to the team, while their strengths are in attention to details and completing tasks. This is also the one "skill" of mine that most drives the rest of the team bonkers --- squirrels!!

What’s your favorite thing to do when you’re feeling uninspired?

I love to get inspiration from other people. Leadership is a team sport, and I thrive in environments where there is active dialogue about leaders and leadership. If I find myself in a funk, I'll often flip through reels or videos from some of my favorite leadership authors and speakers.

If you could have dinner with any historical figure, who would it be?

Sir Ernest Shackleton. The story of his leadership following his failed Antarctic expedition is a fascinating and remarkable tale, I have dozens of questions I would ask him about it. If you haven't read Endurance, you should!

LINDSEY ANDERSON

  • Lindsey has been with the Unleashed Potential team since their start in 2020.  Lindsey has her BS in Business Administration and Management from Nazareth College and since graduating in 2016, Lindsey has worked at Security Mutual Life as a Billing Account Representative, but always knew she wanted to do something creative as well.  Unleashed Potential has allowed her to work with some of our clients to help them with their online marketing efforts, including Tony's Italian Grill, Binghamton Pond Festival, and the Binghamton Shriners Antique Show.  When she isn't working on social media marketing or helping our clients grow their online presence and brand, she enjoys spending time with her husband, 2 year old son, and weiner dog, playing hockey, and doing crafts.

What is your favorite travel destination?
Japan! I have been twice and can't wait to go back. They have the best food (ramen, udon, sushi, and anything from a 7-11) and so many interesting things to see and do!

What has been your biggest accomplishment since starting working with Unleashed Potential?
One of my favorite accomplishments is seeing the photos that I took for Binghamton Pond Festival on billboards and being used in news publications. It is pretty cool to see how far those publications reach and it is rewarding when someone thinks that my photos are good enough to share!

What’s your favorite thing to do when you’re feeling uninspired?
Go for a run or work out in some capacity.  Most of my best thoughts have come to me while on a run or walking the dog, you should see my notes app on my phone (or maybe not, I have 1,200+ notes).

What songs are on the soundtrack to your life?
Thunderstruck by ACDC, Luke Combs/Morgan Wallen/Thomas Rhett/Chris Stapleton, Disney Sing Alongs and Dean's Bedtime Playlist. (Can you tell I'm a mom to a toddler??)

  • Erin has been with Unleashed Potential from its inception in 2020. She has a master’s degree in education from Cortland State and has been in public education for over 30 years.  Unleashed Potential has allowed her to take the trends in education she has experienced over the years and apply them to working with, understanding, and ultimately helping people become better leaders. Her favorite part of this job is stretching herself to learn as much as possible to help people discover their power in leading others well.  When she isn’t working with Unleashed, she spends time with her favorite person (her husband Paul) and her growing family, officiating track meets, sporting and artsy events, and hiking.

What is one unique skill you bring to the team?

Seeing the educational and parenting trends adapt over the years and being able to meld them with self-awareness and generational work with our clients.

What are you most excited to work on in the near future?

I would love to write a book – I’ve started – we’ll see what the future holds.

If you could have dinner with any historical figure, who would it be?

I would love to have dinner with Amelia Earhart and Eleanor Roosevelt. That would be a hoot!

What has been your biggest accomplishment since starting to work with Unleashed Potential?

Choosing to go outside my comfort zone to share the things I have learned with others to make their path easier. It is not comfortable nor easy, but I do love it.

What’s your favorite memory from a team retreat?

Visiting the Hoover Damn and learning all the geeky science-things about it.

ERIN PETERSON

JANET CRAWFORD

  • I'm an experienced business professional with 30+ years of management responsibilities in small business and non-profit organizations.  I have a passion for connecting people to resources and educational opportunities, especially when it helps them develop their servant leadership abilities.  I am proud to be co-founder of a Women Owned Small Business, and I look forward to the positive impacts our company will have in our community, and across the country.

What is your favorite travel destination?
Turks and Caicos because it is warm and England because of all of the history and we lived there for a short time.

What is a unique skill you have?
We have a lot of different and big personalities on our team, and I am able to keep us all on track without going too “squirrelly”

    What’s your coffee order?
Hot coconut coffee in the winter (to pretend that I am somewhere warm and sunny) and iced blueberry coffee in the summer.

    What is your favorite quote?
You miss 100% of the shots you don't take"- Wayne Gretzky.  To have any chance of success, you must first take action!

What is your favorite Unleashed retreat memory?
When Lindsey was on the paddle board with her dog Leia at the lake. Leia (a dachshund) stepped off the board and fell into the lake and Lindsey jumped in fully clothed (it was October, so sweatshirt and sweatpants) to fish her out.
